Yesterday, the Minister of Health in the Sultanate of Oman, Ahmed Bin Muhammad Al-Saidi, warned of the continued spread of the new Corona virus if the procedures were not adhered to. The Omani Minister of Health said, during a press conference of the Supreme Committee to confront "Corona", that the closure in the Sultanate was gradual in the areas where the disease spread, until the total closure came.

Al-Saeedi added that the vast majority at the level of families are committed, but there are people who underestimate, so the decision to close was taken, explaining that the problem still exists, and society is the main part of the solution.

The Sultanate decided to prevent movement and complete closure between the governorates from tomorrow, Saturday, until the eighth of August.

The Minister of Health announced the registration of six new deaths, "Corona", bringing the total deaths in the Sultanate to 355 cases.

The minister said that 1099 new cases of the virus had been registered, bringing the total number of cases to 72,647 cases.

He pointed out that 3427 injured people were recovering, bringing the total number of people recovering in the Sultanate to 51,349 people.

In Iraq, the number of cases of the Coronavirus has exceeded 100,000, after the Ministry of Health said yesterday that the number reached 102,226. The ministry said, in a statement, that at least 4,122 people died as a result of "Covid 19" disease in Iraq. For its part, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced yesterday that it recorded four new deaths from the new Corona virus, taking the total deaths in the country to 421.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Abdullah Al-Sanad, said that 687 new cases of the virus had been registered, bringing the total number of cases to 61,872 cases.
