Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said that Arsenal deserves praise for what he offers on the field, but he expressed his disrespect for this club outside the stadium.

Arsenal ousted defending champion City from the FA Cup semi-final by beating him 2-0 on Saturday, and came a few days after the sports refereeing court decided to cancel the penalty for depriving the Citizens of playing in European championships for two years.

Guardiola has previously spoken of a group of nine English Premier League clubs who reportedly sent a letter to the Sports Court to stand against the cancellation of City's penalty, which was mainly due to allegations of breaches of financial integrity or "fair financial play" regulations.

Guardiola told reporters, "After we lost the match, we shook hands, ... the opponent always deserves my respect and appreciation."

"As for Arsenal, I hold all respect for what he offers on the field, but I do not carry much of that for him outside the field."

The "Citizens" will play Watford in the penultimate round of the Premier League today, Tuesday, before concluding his career against Norwich City, who confirmed his decline to the second degree, next Sunday.
