Presidents meeting

In addition, after weeks of contesting the power of President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta, five West African heads of state tried this Thursday, in Bamako, to draw a way out of the crisis in Mali.

Presidents Muhammadu Buhari from Nigeria, Mahamadou Issoufou from Niger, Alassane Ouattara from Ivory Coast, Nana Akufo-Addo from Ghana and Macky Sall from Senegal were greeted in the middle of the morning by their Malian counterpart at Bamako airport.
