Nicolas Sarkozy will release a new book this Friday, entitled "Le temps des tempêtes". The former President of the Republic, who will be the guest of TF1's 8 pm newscast next Monday, assured that this work "has no political dimension".

Nicolas Sarkozy, whose new book appears this Friday, will be the guest of TF1's 8 p.m. television news show presented by Julien Arnaud on Monday July 27, the channel said. The former President of the Republic (who is also a member of the supervisory board of the Lagardère group, owner of Europe 1) will be on set for the publication of his new book " Le temps des tempêtes " by editions de l 'Observatory. This interview will be broadcast simultaneously on the group's news channel, LCI.

"I'm not in the countryside, I don't miss it!"

In his new book, published a year after the publication of " Passions ", sold over 300,000 copies, Nicolas Sarkozy looks back on the first two years of his five-year term, in 2007 and 2008. "As of May 16, 2007, I was alone (...) I had wanted, respected, dreamed. Now I was there (...) It was more brutal than I had imagined, "he writes in an extract that he posted Wednesday night on Twitter.
