The County Administrative Board is fairly certain that the wolf that sought refuge in Halland from the border between Dalarna and Gävleborg has been sighted again. This time in Veddige, where this week it attacked cattle and killed seven sheep.
Now nature conservation officer Martin Broberg urges animal owners throughout Halland to be careful.
- It's very unfortunate. Of course, we do not want livestock to suffer this. Since we do not know exactly where the next attack could possibly take place, we urge all animal owners in the county to take precautionary measures for their domestic animals and feel free to review their fences, he says.
