July 21, 2020 The investigations of the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office on the alleged violence, which in some cases would appear to be real torture, to the detriment of prison inmates of the Piedmontese capital "Lorusso-Cutugno", are concluded.

In the investigation coordinated by the prosecutor Francesco Pelosi, the director Domenico Minervini and the head of the prison guards Giovanni Battista Alberotanza who among the 25 suspects who, according to the prosecution, have always covered the episodes, also end up among the 25 suspects. Both are accused of aiding and abetting, the director also of failure to report.

The investigation started with the reports of some inmates and the reporting of the municipal guarantor of the detainees, Monica Gallo. The disputed facts date back to 2017 and 2018.
