Police custody and no more delegation of deputies? Two elected officials close to Samia Ghali, placed in police custody last week in an open investigation into questionable proxies established for the municipal elections in Marseille, are absent from the list of deputy delegations unveiled this Tuesday by the left-wing majority of Michèle Rubirola. Presented in the list of 30 deputies just after the election of Michèle Rubirola, on July 4, respectively in 11th and 22nd places in the municipal hierarchy, Roland Cazzola and Marguerite Pasquini, elected in the 15th and 16th arrondissements, do not finally appear nor the 'neither in the list of 28 deputies which specifies the delegations of each.
They were both released without being prosecuted after their recent police custody under questionable powers of attorney established in the 8th sector, won by ex-PS Senator Samia Ghali. The town hall has for the moment not reacted to express themselves on their absence.

This investigation follows another, also opened in Marseille, on other proxies suspected of having been fraudulently established in the 4th and 6th sectors, two bastions of the Republicans. In the list of delegations published this Tuesday, the first deputy Benoît Payan inherits a large portfolio "for a fairer, greener and more democratic city".
Samia Ghali, after being allied with the Marseilles Spring in the second round of the mayoral election, obtained the post of second assistant "in charge of territorial equality, Euro-Mediterranean relations, attractiveness and major Marseille events ”.
