“Iran does not interfere in relations between Iraq and the United States, but expects that Iraqi friends know that the presence of the United States in any country brings corruption and destruction. Iran is awaiting a decision from the Iraqi government, people and parliament to seek the expulsion of the United States because their presence causes instability, ”Khamenei wrote on Twitter.

Khamenei also stressed that Tehran will never intend to interfere in the internal affairs of Iraq.

Earlier, the Iranian authorities issued an arrest warrant for US President Donald Trump and more than 30 people who, according to the Iranian authorities, were involved in the assassination of the commander of the Al-Quds special forces unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Qasem Soleimani.
