For its part, the health authorities in Pakistan recorded 1013 new infections with the new Corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total confirmed cases of the virus in the country to 266 thousand and 96 cases.
On Tuesday, Japan recorded 230 new infections during the past 24 hours, the highest number recorded this week.
Due to the high cases, the Japanese authorities have already decided to exclude Tokyo from the domestic tourism support program, due to the record increase in Corona cases compared to other regions, in order to prevent the spread of infection throughout the country.
In Israel, the Ministry of Health announced today 1844 new infections and 5 deaths from the emerging corona virus during the past 24 hours.
In India, the outcome of confirmed cases of the emerging coronavirus has risen to 1 million 155 thousand and 191 cases, after 37,148 new infections were recorded, according to the Indian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday.
Today, the Iranian Ministry of Health announced that the total number of deaths due to coronavirus infection in the country increased to 14,634 cases, after recording 229 new deaths during the past 24 hours.
In turn, the Ministry of Health in the Sultanate of Oman announced today, 11 new deaths recorded by the new Corona virus, bringing the total deaths in the Sultanate to 337 cases.
In the context, the European Union countries agreed on a financial rescue plan worth a total of 750 billion euros to reduce the economic consequences of the Corona pandemic.
The new agreement means that the most affected countries - such as Italy and Spain - will get bailout packages from the bloc countries, in an attempt to avoid a further drop in their economic indicators from the pandemic.
