China News Service, Beijing, July 21 (Reporter Liang Xiaohui) China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center released on the 21st the "Ranking of 100 Shortage Jobs in the Second Quarter of 2020". According to the ranking, marketers, couriers, and restaurant waiters are still in the top three, and the shortage of occupations related to epidemic prevention and control has eased.

The ranking is derived from the recent human resource market recruitment and job search data reported by public employment service agencies in 102 designated monitoring cities across the country. China regularly publishes rankings of shortage occupations to provide scientific guidance on the job market.

According to China’s ranking of shortage occupations in the first quarter of this year released in April, the top three shortage occupations are marketers, couriers, and restaurant waiters. In addition, the “top ten” shortage occupations in the second quarter remained basically stable this period. Only “handling porters” dropped out of the “top ten”, and “marketing professionals” moved from the 13th in the previous period to the 9th in this period.

However, compared with the previous issue, this issue's "ranking" has the following characteristics:

The first is the 100 occupations that have entered the "ranking". From the perspective of occupational classification, the structure remains generally stable. The sixth and fourth major occupations accounted for 77% of the current period (78% in the previous period), which is still the main body of the shortage of occupations in the market. .

The second is the dynamic trend of professional ranking. In this issue, 24 occupations newly entered the "ranking" (5 fewer than in the previous period), 33 occupations ranked up, and 37 occupations ranked down (a rise in ranking indicates that the supply and demand relationship is tightening, and a decline in ranking indicates that there is a relationship between supply and demand. Alleviation), only 6 occupational rankings remain unchanged, which is basically the same as the previous two periods, showing a trend of dynamic change.

The third is that the number of recruitment needs and the number of job applicants have "both increased", and the market supply and demand activity has increased, confirming the trend of accelerated recovery of the real economy from one aspect. From the perspective of the "ranking" 100 occupations, the number of recruitment needs rose from 1.376 million in the first quarter to 1.489 million, an increase of 8.2%; the number of job seekers rose from 526,000 in the first quarter to 743,000, an increase of 41.3%. The number of gaps dropped from 850 thousand to 746,000 in the first quarter, a decrease of 12.2%; the overall job-seeking ratio (the ratio of the number of recruitment needs to the number of job applicants) dropped from 2.62 in the first quarter to 2.01, a decrease of 23.3%, and the market supply and demand relationship was significantly eased.

Fourth, the degree of job shortage in different industries has risen and fallen. The shortage of electronics-related occupations such as "electrical connector manufacturer", "electronic product plate maker", "capacitor manufacturer", "communication system equipment manufacturer" and other electronic-related occupations have been alleviated; The shortage of traditional manufacturing-related occupations such as stampers and riveters has increased.

Fifth, the shortage of occupations related to epidemic prevention and control has eased. In addition to the increasing shortage of “sewing machinery assembly and debugging workers”, “sewing workers” dropped from 12th to 19th, “medical material product production workers” dropped from 78th to 99th, and “internal physicians”. Three occupations, including "pharmaceutical preparation workers" and "cutting workers", are ranked outside the 100, and all have dropped significantly. (Finish)
