The criminal court in Dubai sentenced an unemployed (Asian) prisoner for three months, who avenged his previous fiancée by exposing and denigrating her, in a way that turned her life into a nightmare - according to her testimony in the Dubai Public Prosecution investigations - as he posted personal photos of her on networks, in addition to her phone number As a "girl of the night", to the extent that men were calling her to ask for her services in return, attributing that to the fact that she had broken his heart, after spending more than one million dirhams during her engagement period, but she eventually gave up on him and married a Gulf.
The Public Prosecution directed the defendant to commit the two crimes of threat, to divulge matters of honor, and to attack the privacy of a person by means of the information network, insults and slander.
The defendant said in the prosecution's investigations that he was linked to the victim by a seven-year engagement, as she got to know her through Facebook, and the knowledge developed into an emotional relationship, then he was formally engaged to her, and during the engagement period, he spent more than a million dirhams, which included jewelry and a car. Lexus », and she bears all her expenses, but he discovered that she was deceiving him, in order to exploit it and steal his money, and only cares about money.
He added that he felt an outrage and madness when he learned that she was married and got pregnant with a Gulf person, so he returned to his country, and created a fake account in her name on the networks “Instagram” and “Facebook”, and published pictures of them during the engagement period, in addition to other pictures of her and her family Noting that she had contacted him when she saw that content, he cursed her, threatened her, and demanded her to return the gold that he bought for her and his money, otherwise he would expose her to her husband and reveal her bad past, attributing that to the fact that he was broken and angry at her.
He indicated that he had kept about 5,000 pictures of the victim, in addition to personal conversations since the sermon, and that content was found on computers that were seized with him.
For its part, the victim said that she was engaged to the accused for about five years, and one of the customs of their countries is that the husband and wife’s families take financial assistance in the costs of marriage, but he always evaded and procrastinated whenever the marriage date approached, and required more money, which led her to annul her engagement from him .
She added that the defendant proceeded to blackmail her after breaking up their engagement, placing her pictures on "Instagram" and "Facebook" using fake accounts, and threatening her that he would discredit her reputation, and in fact publishing her mobile phone number, to the point that some were calling her, believing that she was having sex for money.
