The CEO of Al-Ihsan Charitable Society, Sheikh Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, revealed the semi-annual report of the projects of the association and the total amounts spent during the first half of the year 2020, which amounted to 30,132,153 dirhams, which included the implementation of a group of charitable and humanitarian projects in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, It benefited a large segment of orphans, needy families and needy people, in addition to providing monthly medical, financial and food assistance, which contributed to alleviating the suffering of families in light of the current crisis conditions caused by the Corona pandemic.

And that the report included the support of the Al-Ihsan Society for the "Emirates Homeland Humanitarian Fund" with an amount of two million dirhams, in coordination with the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management, and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, with the aim of unifying national efforts in tackling the Corona virus, and participating in reducing health, humanitarian and economic repercussions.

He continued: The association provided financial support worth one million dirhams to the "People for People" initiative launched by the Charitable Coordination Council and Endowments in Ajman to help families affected by the consequences of the "Corona virus", so the "food basket" was distributed with a value of 600,000 dirhams, and the payment of financial obligations to those affected by 200 thousand dirhams, in addition to distributing electronic tablets to students to help them in "distance learning" at a cost of 200 thousand dirhams, which also included medical field assistance for more than 20 humanitarian cases, through the provision of medicines to the owners of chronic diseases, and the initiative is still continuing until now.

He pointed out that the "charity" spending during the holy month of Ramadan amounted to 5,932,772 dirhams, the most prominent of which was the distribution of the "Al Meer Ramadan" to 6000 needy families, and the distribution of "the food basket" within the initiative "Do not cure them" and "let you be at home" and connected them to the homes of 2,200 families In need, and the "Fasting Iftar" project was implemented with about 90,000 meals, at a cost of 1,350,000 dirhams, and breakfast meals were delivered to several locations for workers' housing and homes for poor families.

He reported that the association distributed 1,655,000 dirhams "Zakat al-Fitr", and 2,103,424 dirhams "zakat money" to families due through the aid committee. The association also distributed "Orphan's Day and Clothes" for a total of 258,508 dirhams, and the project was supported by many philanthropists and philanthropists, who pay attention to the orphan.

He said: The association spent 4,625,556 dirhams, which varied between providing medical services, performing surgeries and dialysis, and also included humanitarian health cases that need medical care, provision of medicines, or contribution to reimbursing hospital and health center arrears.
