The day before, Vladimir Putin noted that the mortality rate from coronavirus in Russia is much less than in a number of countries with a "good, developed health care system." According to him, this is due to the flexibility of the domestic health care system, the level of training of specialists, the ability to mobilize and a number of other factors.

“In general, as I said, we still manage to pass, turn this difficult page, with minimal losses. But they still exist, and the threat still persists, ”the head of state said.

According to a study conducted by employees of the Institute of State and Municipal Administration and the Directorate for Expert and Analytical Work of the Higher School of Economics, Russia entered the top ten countries to counter the spread of coronavirus.
