According to the Swedish Transport Administration, the queues for driving up have increased during the corona pandemic.

In Eslöv, there is currently no free time for driving up until the end of October. But in Eslöv in particular, the long waiting time is not due to corona, according to Helena Nilsson, traffic instructor and regional manager for Mårtensson's traffic schools, which has one of its traffic schools in Eslöv.

- It's always like this in Eslöv. There are three schools that work here in Eslöv and very few times are available at the Swedish Transport Administration, says Helena Nilsson.

Big difference in waiting times

Mårtensson's traffic schools are located in several places in Skåne and in other places, when it is not a corona pandemic, it is usually possible to book a time for driving up with only one or two weeks in advance, according to Helena Nilsson.

In Eslöv you have to book several months in advance.

- We would like more times for driving up in Eslöv, says Helena Nilsson.

The Swedish Transport Administration does not agree

Lars Ekdahl, office manager at the Swedish Transport Administration in Malmö, does not agree that the driving times are too few in Eslöv.

- We are there one day a week with two inspectors. That's enough as it looks right now, he says.

There have been discussions about closing down the Swedish Transport Administration's office in Eslöv, he continues.

- But it is several years ago, he says and explains that at the moment it is not relevant to close the office.
