Two children aged 3 and 5 were locked up voluntarily by their parents in the heat of a car in Serris (Seine-et-Marne) on Saturday noon in a parking lot at the Val-d'Europe shopping center. The anti-crime brigade released the two children, in an advanced state of dehydration and found unconscious in the car.

The alert was given shortly before 3 p.m., reports an article from the Parisian , by the security service of the shopping center, after finding two children without any movement on the back seat of a car with all windows closed.

Parents find their children "unbearable"

On the spot, the police did not hesitate to break the front window, noting that the children did not react. It was 35 degrees inside the cabin but the children were still breathing. They were immediately rehydrated.

Both parents eventually returned to the car. On vacation and originally from Tours, they had voluntarily locked up the children around 1 pm, deeming them "unbearable". An investigation was opened by the police station of Chelles.
