Now during the corona pandemic, several meat producers are noticing an increase in demand for locally produced meat. This according to the business organization Swedish Trade. One of those who recognizes himself is Richard Näslin who has a meat farm outside Köinge in Falkenberg municipality, where he raises pigs, sheep and cows for slaughter.
- People are looking for smaller stores where there are not that many people. At the same time, they want an experience and then farms fit well. Many also want to support the local producers, says Richard Näslin.
