Today (20th), the National Assembly held a hearing on the appointment of candidate Kim Chang-ryong. It is the first HR hearing in the 21st National Assembly, but it seems that the question will be focused on the suspicion of former Mayor Park Won-soon rather than verifying the competency of the candidate himself.

issues that will heat up the personnel affairs hearing of the Commissioner of the Police are the suspicions surrounding former Mayor Park Won-soon.

The United Nations party requested 11 witnesses, including Soon-young Lim and Gender Specialist Seoul, as witnesses, saying that Park's accusation will be followed by the leak, but the adoption of the witnesses was rejected due to the rejection of the Democratic Party.

With this situation in place, the United Party plans to question Kim directly.

Mayor Park is expected to disclose the facts so far investigated regarding the alleged sexual harassment and to demand the investigation reveals the leak.

In addition, we plan to ask for measures to prevent secondary abuse against victims.

As candidate Kim led the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, there will be questions about the investigation into the sexual harassment case of former Busan Mayor Augustus.

It is also subject to verify that the police investigation has been properly conducted since the death of Choi Sook-hyun.

Among these, Han Sang-hyuk, a chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, is also conducting a personnel hearing.

One candidate has served as chairman after the resignation of former chairman Hyo-sung Lee in September of last year, and if he passes the hearing today, he will start a new three-year term.
