“According to the information of the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day on July 18, 2020, 134 forest fires on an area of 8 508 hectares were eliminated in Russia,” the text says.
It is noted that by the end of the day in Russia there were 188 forest fires on an area of 39 978 ha, which were actively extinguished.
Earlier it became known that the total number of fires in Russia since the beginning of the year decreased by 10%, the number of victims decreased by 15%.
