  The Seoul Local Police Agency said on the 17th that a special working group dedicated to investigating the Park Won Chun case will be established from that day to actively respond to related investigations. The Seoul police said, "This is to prevent the second injury to the prosecutor and promptly investigate the indulgence and default of the relevant personnel in Seoul City."

  According to previous reports, the city of Seoul publicly stated on the 15th that it will form a joint investigation team of civilian officials involving women's groups, human rights experts, and legal experts to identify suspects of sexual harassment by Park Yuan Chun. At the same time, priority will be given to secondary injuries such as personal attacks on victims and the dissemination of personal information. The conduct of secondary injuries will be severely punished and related responsibilities will be investigated.

  Park Yuan Chun was born in 1956 and was a lawyer. He was elected Mayor of Seoul in 2011 and was re-elected in 2014 and 2018. The Common Democratic Party of South Korea's ruling party, Park Yuanchun, is regarded as one of the potential candidates for the next Korean president.

  On July 8, 2020, Pu Yuanchun's former female secretary accused the police of sexual harassment for many years; on July 9, Park Yuanchun disappeared, and in the early hours of the 10th, the police found his body. Upon investigation, the police stated that there were no traces of homicide.
