Start the clip above to see the pictures from inside the emergency kitchen, and hear Alexander Bergqvist from Karlskoga municipality about the meal preparedness in the event of a crisis.

It was completed in April this year. In Storängsköket, everyday meals are prepared for preschools in Karlskoga and Degerfors municipalities. But with access to its own electric power plant and reserve water, it also functions as a so-called emergency kitchen.

- It should be able to last even if all other activities are down, says Alexander Bergqvist, head of security at Karlskoga and Degerfors municipalities' joint public health administration.

Now they have started to fill up a real supply of food that will be able to cover the two municipalities' needs for thousands of people in elderly and child care every day for two weeks, if a crisis arises.

- It is not really full yet, but the beginning of it looks like this ..., says kitchen manager Märta Jakobsson who gives SVT News a tour inside the crisis storage.
