The Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, said that his country will not stand idle if it crosses the Sirte-Jafra line, and will not accept destabilizing the security and stability of the eastern region of Libya.

Al-Sisi stressed in a speech during a conference of sheikhs and notables of Libya, today, Thursday, that if Egypt interfered in Libya, it would change the military scene quickly and decisively, pointing out that the Egyptian army is one of the strongest armies in the region and Africa.

The Egyptian President pointed out that the Egyptian army Rashid and Egypt always support the political solution in Libya, stressing that it does not have any positions against the western region in Libya, pointing out that the parties to the conflict do not have the will to find a political solution due to the interference of external forces that employ some parties to their interests.

The Egyptian President stressed that the foreign presence increased in Libya, especially after the Al-Wefaq government signed an agreement with Turkey, which prompted the latter to establish naval and air bases in Libya, in addition to the transfer of mercenaries to support the Al-Wefaq government to control Libyan oil and threaten the security of neighboring countries.

Earlier, the head of the Diwan of the Supreme Council for the Sheikhs and Tribes of Libya, Mohamed Al-Misbahi, said that the delegation came to Egypt to confirm the statement of the Libyan Parliament on the request to support the Egyptian army and its intervention to expel the Turkish occupier, he said.

Al-Misbahi said in televised statements that the delegation that arrived in Egypt represents all the Libyan people in the east, and in the west, which is under the control of the government of reconciliation supported by Turkey, as well as in the south, north and migrants.
