US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Friday that President Donald Trump wants to attend the North American summit only when sufficient progress is made with North Korea.

Pompeo answered this when asked about the possibility of holding the 3rd North American summit at a talk event hosted by The Hill, the political media.

"North Korea has missed the signals," he said. "But the truth is that we want to get involved in the summit only if we believe that Trump has enough potential to make real progress in achieving the results we started in Singapore." I said.

He said that he believes that denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and ultimately the resolution of conflicts and stability on the Korean Peninsula are incredibly important, but we need a willing partner.

However, he added that North Korea chose not to engage in a way that could lead to a potential solution at this point.

Kim Jong-un, the younger sister of North Korea's chair of the State Council, Kim Yeo-jung, the first vice-president of the Labor Party, seems to have pointed out the possibility of hosting the North American summit this year through a talk on the 10th.

Pompeii's comment appears to have been elected by the United States, saying North Korea would not take a photo-taking event without clear progress, as North Korea dismissed the possibility of holding the North American summit this year.

"I do not want to comment on an ongoing conversation with one of our parties," said Pompeo when asked if a third-party North American summit could be held at a telephone conference with the media on September 9. I am very hopeful that I can continue the conversation.”

At the time, he said, "If it (conversation) is at a level lower than the summit, or if it is appropriate and there is a useful activity to hold to bring the senior leaders back together..." Interpretation came out.
