TESTIMONY
Marie-Thérèse suffered two assaults in her building a few years apart. Three years ago, the companion of one of her neighbors hit her hard in the face, breaking her front teeth and cracking her lip. Then recently, Marie-Thérèse was attacked again on the stairs by two young people who stole her bag. At the microphone of "La Libre antenne", on Europe 1, Marie-Thérèse says she does not feel safe.

"Three years ago, I was going up the stairs of my building. I was going to open my door and suddenly I was punched in the face. I had four stitches in my lip I was bleeding, it was terrible. It was the companion of the neighbor of the third. He does not live there, he just comes to see her. He must be 65. I still have sore mouth, he m had broken all the front teeth and my lip was split.
" He keeps coming "I don't know why he attacked me like that, I never knew. He had no valid reason a priori . I complained. A correctional judgment was pronounced on February 8, 2018. For three years, he must not be around, but he continues to come. I don't feel safe. He doesn't threaten me, but he insults me. I heard him when he was going up the stairs and I was going down. I do not tolerate it. I was shaking. Fortunately, one of my daughters lives with me.
I went to the police station to tell them, they told me to call 17 and they would come right away. Indeed, I called the 17th and they cleared it. He also received a ticket because he was there when he should not be there. I saw through the window that he was still coming. I will not call the police every time. He had to pay me compensation, but he doesn't either.
" I almost suffocated "It happened three years ago, but a fortnight ago, I was assaulted on the stairs again. It must have been 8 p.m. I came home from shopping. They were two young people. I almost choked. They arrived behind me, I don't know where they came from. They must have spotted me before. There was one I couldn't see because he was holding me. One of them was strangling me and said: "If you cry, I will kill you". The other said, "Give me your bag."
Police and firefighters came quickly. A neighbor called them because they took everything, my phone, my credit card ... It happened quickly, I was completely knocked. I almost rolled up the stairs. They did not catch them. The police showed me photos and I thought I recognized one, but I'm not sure. They are investigating.
