Each of them will collect the sum of 9.63 million euros. The grid of 7 numbers was a winner in the small town of Mayorga, in the northwest of the country. More than 30 million grids had been played for this throw-in of the mega jackpot on July 4.

Three winners in Spain in 2020

This is the third jackpot won in the country since the start of the year but also the second mega jackpot win in a row. A Madrid native won 130 million euros on February 7, 2020 in the first mega jackpot of the year and 51.5 million euros were pocketed on June 12 in the country.

The Spanish players have started playing again since the end of the confinement. Sales of the European lottery had, in fact, been stopped during March 15 and May 16 by the game operator Loteria Y Apuestas.

A total of thirteen lucky winners have already won at the Euromillions this year. Among them, three Spaniards, but also three British and as many French.
