The Foreign Ministry said that "in order to protect its legitimate interests, China will take the necessary retaliatory measures and impose sanctions against US citizens and American organizations related to this (adoption of the law. - RT )."

Earlier, US leader Donald Trump announced the signing of the law and a presidential decree to hold China accountable for its actions against Hong Kong.
