US President Donald Trump said today (the local time) has signed an administrative order to end special status against Hong Kong.

President Trump also signed a bill that passed the House and Senate to sanction banks dealing with Chinese officials involved in the implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law (Hong Kong Security Law).

President Trump made the announcement today at the White House Rose Garden, Reuters reported.

It appears to be a follow-up retaliation following China's enforcement of the Hong Kong Security Act.

President Trump said the British have been trying to persuade many countries not to use Huawei when they decided to stop buying Huawei equipment.

President Trump said China would be entirely responsible for concealing the new coronavirus infection (Corona19) worldwide, Reuters said.
