“When passing quarantine control to go ashore from a ship moored in the port of Busan, the coronavirus was confirmed by one Russian sailor, an epidemiological investigation is underway,” RIA Novosti quoted the deputy head of the central headquarters for anti-epidemic measures of South Korea, Kwon Jung Uk.
For the remaining sailors, a coronavirus check is also being conducted.
According to media reports, there are 44 sailors on board, all of them are Russian citizens.
Earlier, a coronovirus outbreak was reported in the crew of the Russian vessel Ice Stream, which was located in South Korean Busan.
