• Venezuela: United States captures in Africa Alex Saab, the main figurehead of Nicolás Maduro

Bolivarian agent Alex Saab has hired former judge Baltasar Garzón to defend him before international organizations and before the justice of Cape Verde, where he is imprisoned in the middle of the extradition process to the United States. This has been confirmed by his defense lawyer, José Manuel Pinto, to the Agencia Efe.

Garzón's job will be to lead the lawsuits against the United States and against the government of Cape Verde before the International Court in The Hague and before the courts of the African country, which has not accepted two habeas corpus petitions filed by the team of the millionaire Saab. After his surprising arrest in June, when he landed at the African airport to refuel gasoline en route to Iran and Russia, the Maduro government has launched a full-blast defense of who he presents as a nationalized diplomat, with immunity, in charge of business revolutionaries around the world.

A kind of special envoy of the "president people", although there were no communications published in the Official Gazette or his nationalization or diplomatic efforts.

Another of Garzón's tasks will be to search up to 12 million dollars with the filing of a process for the compensation of his client , a businessman from the Colombian city of Barranquilla who gave away key chains to his clients and who, thanks to his relationship with former senator Piedad Córdoba he entered the heart of power in Caracas. In Venezuela they are still waiting for him to build the homes for his first millionaire contract.

The Colombian businessman is a key man for the revolution and for Nicolás Maduro himself, not only because he is his main figurehead according to investigations by the Washington government , the democratic Parliament of Venezuela and the legitimate prosecutor of the oil country. Saab also acts as the main international operator of the Chavista regime, be it in the sale of food, shipment of gasoline, oil businesses and gold smuggling. All these businesses marked by price premiums and corruption from their origin to the end.

The Venezuelan press has echoed in recent days the complaints of the businessman Saab, who is not happy with the conditions in his cell: too small, uncomfortable and with mosquitoes. The Bolivarian agent also does not agree with his current diet, very far from what he usually enjoyed.

Saab is precisely an expert in nutritional matters: for years he has provided food to the CLAP food bag , the Bolivarian update of the Cuban ration book. A subsidized stock market that has become the main tool of social control of the government of "the son of Chávez", among constant complaints about its poor quality and its price premiums.

Very little remains of the Garzón who "landed" in Latin America in 1998 after obtaining the provisional arrest of the Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet in London. His flirtations with the Bolivarian revolution began with his relationship with Hugo "El Pollo" Carvajal, head of counterintelligence and intelligence during different stages with Chávez and Maduro. The former judge of the National Court has also participated in the defense of another Bolivian millionaire in Madrid.

The former judge is part of the friends of the revolution at the hands of former Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, who has also joined the virtual deliberations of the Puebla Group, a conglomerate of leaders of the Latin American left headed by the Argentine President Alberto Fernández, in which fugitives and convicts like former Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa and former Brazilian President Lula Da Silva are active .

"It is the same circle of corruption and organized crime. Garzón is a lawyer for Evo Morales and now he intends to defend Saab, the main figurehead of Maduro and his family," denounced from exile Julio Borges, chancellor of the presidency in charge of Juan Guaidó.

The opposition leader added that Zapatero ("who has become the international defender of the regime and has benefited from the robbery of Venezuelans") is the "bridge" between the dictatorship and Garzón.
