A 21-year-old Austrian mountaineer died after falling fifty meters after returning from an ascent of the Dibona needle, in the Ecrins massif, we learned this Tuesday from the company of CRS of Briançon. The drama occurred Monday afternoon over the Soreiller refuge in the town of Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans (Isère), it was added from the same source.

According to Le Dauphine released , the young man would have fallen during an abseiling. He was accompanied by another mountaineer who had carried out this operation without incident. The victim died when help arrived.
