The Egyptian artist Lotfi Labib did not find that he seemed to reassure his fans himself after circulating some rumors that his health had deteriorated and he entered intensive care, so the star appeared through a video he shared with his fans, in which he mentioned that the news circulated about him is unfounded, and that he is in the best condition and still is Able to move and talk as evident.

But at the same time, he did not hide the details of his current condition, as he confirmed his exposure to a stroke a while ago that affected the movement in his left hemisphere, which in turn affected his artistic presence and his position of acting, especially as he refuses to ask the directors to detail the roles nominated to suit his physical condition, or Accepting roles he stays in all the time, which affects dramatic credibility, out of respect for his artistic career.

This means that he will not participate in any artistic works at the present time until his health improves. If the public wants to consider this decision as retirement or even quasi-retirement, then there is nothing wrong with that, all that interests him is to invite his audience to heal, but he stressed that if he avoids acting However, this does not mean leaving art.

Multi talent

This is how Lotfi Labib issued social networking sites and search engines on Google, especially after the crowd and his fellow artists flocked to wish him a cure, which coincided with Labib's assertion that he exploited his current sabbatical and stopped acting in writing, until he had already finished writing a serial scenario currently on A production company that reads and reviews it to decide on it.

This is not Labib's first writing experience, as he previously authored a book called "Battalion 26" in which he recorded his live and detailed experience in the Egyptian armed forces during the war of attrition and transit. The book was issued nearly 40 years ago, and achieved great success until it was sold 3 Editions run out entirely.

Although he had prepared a script and dialogue for the book and wished to turn it into a movie - especially with his conviction that all the films that were filmed about the war did not provide the true face of it, and that it was necessary to pass the experiment to write about it truthfully - his project did not see the light.

And because he did not like "propaganda" as he put it, and he had no relations to qualify him to fulfill his dream, the matter ended with his book being kept in one of the drawers, but despite the passage of all those years he has not lost hope yet.

Perseverance

It seems that perseverance is not a strange thing for Lotfi Labib, and his career is the best proof of that. He, though, graduated from the Institute of Performing Arts with a generation of stars - headed by Muhammad Subhi, Nabeel Al-Halfawi, Hadi Al-Gayar, Shaaban Hussein and others - but his luck made him join the army for nearly 6 years. He witnessed during the war of attrition, the October victory, and what followed, an experience that affected his human sense.

After that experience, he traveled to work in one of the Arab countries for some time, which disrupted him technically and made him colleagues who pushed him ahead of him technically and publicly, and yet he was able, upon his return, to prove himself through the theater through which he presented many important artistic works that confirmed the weight of his talent.

Among these plays, in which the play “The Bald Singer is still Bald” by Samir Al-Asfouri, and the “Hostages” released in 1981 and known for it in the artistic community, participated in the play “King is the King”, which continued to be shown between 1988 and 2003.

The adventurer

Lutfi Labib's journey continued for many years, resulting in approximately 350 works of art that varied between films, series, and plays. Although he performed many heavy roles such as "Al-Raha’i", "Talk in the Forbidden", and "King Lear" and others, he gained his position in The hearts of the young audience after making his way to the cinema, participating in the comedy stars.

He did not fear adventure or change his skin, and did not adhere to the serious roles that fit his facial features or the type of works preferred for him, and he did not say either the roles of the championship or the large areas or not, refusing to back down one step back, but agreed to play the second and perhaps the third roles in the films of the younger generation From Mohamed Heneidy to Mohamed Saad to Ahmed Helmy, to become a partner for their success.

As for the role that was a turning point in his career and making directors flocking to him after that and placing him in one box with the late star Hassan Hosni in the "midfield" area that the latter has been sitting for years on the throne, it is the role of the Israeli ambassador, who presented him with the movie "The Embassy in Architecture" accompanied by the leader.

It is the role that Heneidy and Salah Al-Saadani warned of him, but he was encouraged by his performance, Adel Imam and director Saeed Hamid, assuring him that he would make a major artistic move with his career, which is what actually happened, whether at the level of wages or how many roles have become presented to him.

It is mentioned that the last cinematic work in which Lotfi Labib participated was the movie "Fantasy of Mata", which was released in 2019, and although he tried to refuse to participate in it due to his poor health, the action hero Ahmed Helmy stuck to him, and the last TV series was the comedy "Men of the House" Which was shown last Ramadan, and was starring Akram Hosni, Ahmed Fahmy and Bayoumi Fouad.
