“To satisfy the petition of the investigation to extend the accused to preventive measures,” the judge announced the decision.

The court ruling said that the businessman objected to the extension of the arrest and stated that his identification was in violation of procedural rules.

Paley also told the media that he does not admit guilt. The consideration of the petition was closed, since the investigator considered the disclosure of the case file to be dangerous for the participants in the process.

Earlier it was reported that the Basmanny Court this week will consider requests to extend the arrest of four defendants in the Furgal case.

On July 10, a court arrested Furgal for two months on charges of organizing murders of businessmen in the Far East in 2004-2005. The head of the Khabarovsk Territory himself declared his innocence.
