It was around noon on Monday that Roger Andersson caught sight of the wolf in a forest area outside Halmstad. Then it was five to ten meters away from him. When he picked up the cell phone, the wolf had disappeared a bit.
- I was very surprised that it was so close, because it is a shady animal, says Roger Andersson.
He continues:
- We discussed during the morning that the wolf had appeared in Halland, someone had seen a wander around Åled. I thought someone would probably see it - but not me.
How sure are you that it was a wolf?
- I reacted directly to the animal in the forest. The forest is sparse, and the wolf was close.
