"Thoren Arena" is called the ball hall which will be located in the Nolia area. The arena will have a full-size football pitch and a floor plan as well as new office space for the Thorengruppen.
"Keep it close to nature with lots of wood"
The building will have two sports halls with an office section in the center of glass that will be lit up. The idea is to use natural materials on a very green sports field.

Delayed work
It was hoped that construction would start already in the summer of 2019, but it has been postponed due to, among other things, the appeal from the Left Party and the Center Party. Ground work began in March 2020, but the process has been active for almost seven years.
The construction is expected to be completed during the winter season in 2021-2022.
