These agreements, concluded after seven weeks of negotiation, will benefit "all hospital staff", "whatever their category, regardless of the establishment or service in which they work", he abounded alongside the Minister of Health Olivier Véran. "I have no trouble saying that in this sense, beyond recognizing their action, it is a form of catching up with respect to years of delay or each and every one, and can -being myself has its share of responsibility, "he insisted.

The "Ségur agreements" provide for an envelope of 7.5 billion for paramedical personnel (nurses, nursing assistants) and other non-medical personnel (technicians, administrative agents, etc.), with a key increase in salary of 183 euros. monthly net for employees. Concerning doctors, an envelope of 450 million euros has been put on the table, intended mainly to increase the "exclusive public service" allowance, paid to practitioners who agree to work only in public hospitals.

"Incomprehensible" arbitrations for medical unions

The agreement on non-medical personnel has been signed by three majority unions: FO, CFDT and Unsa. The two other representative unions (CGT and SUD) did not wish to validate it.

Regarding doctors, three majority unions have also given the green light: INPH, CMH and Snam-HP. The two other representative unions (APH and Young Doctors) denounced "incomprehensible" arbitrations and a "sham negotiation".

Other planned announcements

These wage agreements, at the heart of discussions held since the end of May under the leadership of Nicole Notat, are only one component of the "Health Ségur", intended to improve the working conditions of caregivers and the care of patients.

The other three components, which relate to investment and financing of hospitals, governance, and the territorial organization of the healthcare system, will be the subject of "very strong" announcements in the coming days, assured Olivier Véran .
