It was at two o'clock in the night that a person found a man with a stab injury in a stairwell in central Sölvesborg. Police were called to the scene and found that the man was injured.
An ambulance was called to the scene and the man, who is in his 60s, was taken to hospital.
The course of events is unclear and the man should be heard during the day. No suspects have been arrested but a report of serious abuse has been established.
