The world discovered Soon-Yi Previn (49) around 1992, when her relationship with Woody Allen (84) was uncovered. The circumstances were spectacular, since his adoptive mother, Mia Farrow (75), was then a partner of the film director. They had been together for more than 12 years, albeit in unusual circumstances, since they didn't even share a bed. "There were no clothes of hers in my house, I didn't even have a toothbrush," Soon-Yi recalled years later. Soon-Yi disliked Woody. But one day they liked each other, and although from the outside it seemed that the scroll had something perverse - it looked as if Allen had slept with his stepdaughter, 40 years younger than him - Soon-Yi indicated from the beginning that it was a relationship between strangers .

Soon-Yi was born in Seoul in 1970 and was adopted by Farrow and Previn when she was about to turn seven. She had run away from home with five and survived on the street eating from the garbage; once, she explained, she even swallowed a bar of soap.
She was picked up by nuns , then that Bohemian couple arrived and took her, first to Surrey, England, and later to New York, when Farrow separated from Previn and stayed with her three adopted children.
The second childhood Soon-Yi was also unhappy. He has described Mia as an unbalanced man who sought to educate her into submission , and the antipathy was immediate. "We were like oil and water. I hung from my feet so that the blood would drop to my head and I would learn English faster," she said in the interview. "Mia woke her up in the middle of the night to force her to exercise and yelled at her because she didn't learn," she says. "He threatened to put her in an asylum." Allen adds that Farrow even threw a porcelain rabbit at him. Years later, when Soon-Yi sprained his ankle, the only one who helped him go to the doctor was him. They started to get to know each other when, at Farrow's suggestion, they started going to watch basketball games.
Allen says that they kissed after seeing Bergman's The Seventh Seal, as if it were a scene from Manhattan, and the relationship would have been secret if Mia had not discovered erotic photos of her daughter at Woody's house. That precipitated events: the final separation of Allen and Farrow and the acceleration of romance. It has been a relationship without ups and downs, in which Soon-Yi has supported her husband in his most difficult moments, that is, when Farrow has repeatedly accused him of abusing his daughter Dylan when he was seven years old, something systematically rejected by the Justice North American.
Soon-Yi has two children with Allen, Bechet and Manzie, both adopted, and is not known for occupation. They live in their Manhattan apartment overlooking Central Park, and in the New York Magazine piece Soon-Yi described her routine this way: "We sleep and have breakfast together; I do Pilates or yoga, I read the New York Times, we eat, and Later I see friends, I go to museums or shopping.
