July 12, 2020New record of coronavirus cases worldwide. In the last 24 hours, according to WHO announces on its website , 219,983 new cases have been registered for a total of 12,322,395 patients globally. There were 556,335 deaths since the beginning of the infection.

It had been worse the previous day. In fact, there were 228,186 new cases registered on 10 July, with an increase of 23,219 cases compared to Thursday, equal to 11.33%. On Friday, 5,568 people from or from coronaviruses also died worldwide.

The virus shows no sign of reducing its aggression especially in the US,first country in the world for infections and deaths, where yet another record was recorded yesterday regarding daily infections (+66,528), against 760 deaths. According to the estimates contained in the new guidelines of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CoC), 40% of those infected in the country are asymptomatic and about half of the infections occur before the infected get sick.

The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic therefore rises to 3,242,073. The death toll brings the total death toll to 134,729. 

The Russia reported 6,615 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 727,162. Another 130 people have died from Covid-19, also in the past 24 hours, reported the country's coronavirus response center. The total death toll from the epidemic in Russia is currently 11,335.
