As recently as five years ago, the message came that Norrskog would invest in its sawmills in Östavall and Hissmofors. Last winter, the next message came that the Östavall saw would be shut down. During Friday the saw stopped for good and now remains of Östavall; a garage, a sports ground and a guest house.
