Delayed by the rain, qualifying for the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Styria, on the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, will start at 3:46 p.m. instead of 3:00 p.m., announced the race director.
Météo France forecasts for the International Automobile Federation (FIA) announce rain all afternoon, less intense after 4:00 p.m.
Free practice 3, which was to take place between 12 noon and 1 p.m., was finally canceled for the same reasons, after being initially postponed.
Previously, the opening Formula 3 race had ended prematurely in the pouring rain.
