U.S. billionaire Jeffrey Epstein and his ex-girlfriend, 58-year-old Gillane Maxwell, arrested for conspiracy to commit a minor sexual offense, filed for bail because of concern about Corona19 infection.

Gillane Maxwell was prosecuted by the New York Southern District Prosecutor for charges of conspiracy and perjury for sex crimes, including recruiting underage girls for Epstein between 1994 and 1997, and was imprisoned in a prison in Brooklyn.

One of the victims was a 14-year-old girl, and Epstein and his girlfriend Gillane Maxwell turned out to be aware of the fact that the victims were underage.

Gillane Maxwell's lawyers reported that Maxwell claimed that the risk of getting Corona 19 in prison was "serious".

The bail presented by them is known to be 5 million dollars and about 6 billion won in Korean money.

Epstein was arrested and prosecuted in July of last year, but a month later, he made an extreme choice in prison and killed himself.

The South New York District Attorney, who indicted her against Gail Maxwell's bail petition, appealed to the court saying, "If you release Gilein, you are very at risk of escaping."

She is likely to be sentenced to long term imprisonment if she is found guilty at trial, claiming that she had three passports and large sums of money at the time of her arrest, and that she had a lot of foreign connections, and would likely escape if she was released from bail.

On the other hand, Gillane Maxwell said that if the court allowed the bail, he would give up his US, UK and French passports and receive GPS surveillance while being pensioned to his home in New York.
