The Chairman of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority, Dr. Eng. Rashid Al-Lim, stated that the authority is keen on developing its procedures and providing the best services to subscribers with an atmosphere and high efficiency and works to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah to take all measures to develop services and ensure the safety and safety of residents Emirate of Sharjah.

He pointed out that indiscriminate additions in residential neighborhoods that are built without reference to official authorities, and that are inconsistent with building requirements and regulations lead to increased loads in buildings by operating equipment and devices in homes that consume additional amounts of electricity without referring to the authority to determine the appropriate load for these devices, and stressed The necessity of communicating with the authority before implementing any additions and avoiding random electrical connections that represent a great danger to the population because it lacks safety and security elements in the connections.

He stressed that the commission continues in the awareness and inspection campaigns that aim to protect and provide security, safety, education and awareness of the importance of correcting the situations to avoid any dangers or fires and catastrophic damage and the negative effects that this has on individuals and public and private property.

 The director of the commercial office of the authority, Al-Zari Security, indicated that the electric current was connected or turned on for all requests received by the commercial office according to the best specifications that achieve safety and security.
