11 July 2020A case of positivity at Covid-19 has been highlighted by exams at Parma Calcio. It is the club itself that communicates it on its official website, explaining that it is a "member (not a footballer) of the team group", completely asymptomatic and readily isolated according to federal and ministerial directives.

All the others were negative and started isolation in the sports center, but "they will be able to continue the activity regularly, constantly monitored according to the current protocol".

The Parma card is the first case of positivity to Coronavirus found in Serie A since the resumption of the championship. Previously there had been the case of Venezia in Serie B, with the footballer Gian Filippo Felicioli positive result at Covid-19. In this case, based on the latest protocol in force, the lagoon team was put in isolation but the match against Pordenone was regularly played on 20 June, following the negative results of the swabs made by the team and staff in the hours before the game.
