A spokesman for Israel Electric Company in the city of Ashkelon tells Reuters that their employees are struggling to stave off thousands of jellyfish that come with the seawater used to cool their systems on hot days.
The bright blue jellyfish threaten to shut down the plant's turbines, but so far the company's employees have managed to clear the system from the jellyfish in time.
