This time, let's move on to General Baek Sun-yeop. General Baek Sun-yeop has long been at the center of controversy. Prior to liberation, he was a special forces officer from Japan who pursued an independent army in Manchuria. After the liberation, he was the first Korean four-star general to rise to the North Korean highlands with a pistol on the Korean War. The debate was hot, depending on which point of view, whether pro-Japanese or anti-communism was important, but today (11th) died at the age of 100.

First, reporter Hak-Hwi Kim.

Army captain Seon-yeop Baek died at about 11:00 last night.

My health has rapidly deteriorated in recent years as a 100-year-old old man.

At the time of the outbreak of the Korean War, he was the head of the 1st Division, the division's foremost unit, and led the Battle of the Budong in the Nakdong River Front in the summer of 1950.

He was the 6th and 25th War Hero, who became the first 4-star general of the Korean Army at the age of 33 in 1953 after passing by the Army Chief of Staff.

At the conclusion of the Armistice Agreement on July 27, 1953, I attended as the delegation of Korea.

Advisers from all walks of life, including officials from the military at Vinsoen and Ambassador Harris in Korea, were prepared at Seoul Asan Hospital.

[Kyung-Doo Chung/Minister of Defense: He is the hero who laid the foundation for building a mighty army. I think the big stars have been lost.]

US Commander Abrams, the USFK commander, honored Hundred Generals, saying he was a hero and national treasure who helped shape the ROK-US alliance.

However, he also has the mistake of'pro-Japanese action' along with the ball he set in the Korean War.

In 2009 during the Japanese colonial rule in Manchuria, the history of Gando Special Forces who went to catch independence troops was confirmed.

The funeral of General Baek Sun-yeop is held as the head of the army.

The survivors applied for a saddle for the National Daejeon Rehabilitation Center in accordance with the National Cemetery Act, and General Baek is scheduled to be seated at General Reunion 2 Cemetery on the 15th.
