Sara Ekström was part of one of the police patrols who were first ordered to the scene. According to her, the incident is very serious and if it was not for a witness to act, it could have ended even worse.
- I dare not even think about what could have happened if this hero had not interrupted the assault, says Sara Ekström.
A few hours later, police received a call that a man had broken into a home near where the abuse happened.
- A dog patrol was ordered to the home and at the bottom of the basement the man was located and quite quickly you realize that it was probably the same man who performed the abuse, says Sara Ekström.
The man was arrested and arrested on Thursday. The investigation is now led by Prosecutor Anna Elmlöv who during Friday afternoon requested the man arrested.
- I have requested him arrested on probable cause suspected of gross abuse and illegal threats. Today, the suspect, trial owner and witnesses have also been interviewed, says Anna Elmlöv.
