• Government Moncloa assumes that it will not be possible to reform the inviolability of the King
  • Inviolability: The escape routes of Juan Carlos I before justice

The second vice president of the Government, Pablo Iglesias, resumes his position against the Monarchy. The latest information on the business of Don Juan Carlos I and the donation of 65 million that he made to Corina Larsen, the leader of Podemos resumes his position of confrontation with the Crown and advocates putting the debate on this institution. Iglesias considers that Pedro Sánchez "is pointing out something evident: a debate on the usefulness of the monarchy is growing in Spanish society".

As they did since his party this Thursday, the Vice President of the Government also puts Felipe VI in the spotlight. While the PSOE has tried to disassociate the current Monarch from the judicial situation in which Don Juan Carlos is immersed, Iglesias and Unidas Podemos consider that the scandals also have repercussions on the current King. This is how the vice president expresses it in a few words posted on social networks: "It is also difficult to ignore that the monarchy is a hereditary institution in which legitimacy rests precisely on filiation."
