During confinement, Elise had wanted to separate from her boyfriend. She had gone to live with her grandmother. "It is assumed that he could not bear the breakup and that he felt he no longer had control over her," said Camille, the victim's friend who initiated this initiative. The man attacked his ex-girlfriend in front of their daughter and "left her for dead".
She sees her child three times a week
"Fortunately, it happened in front of the pharmacy. It was during confinement, there was no one on the streets, ”Camille testified. The mother was taken to the hospital in Caen "between life and death" and is now being treated in a specialized establishment. “Elise only sees her daughter two to three times a week, she feels like she is missing out on precious moments with her baby. It is the most difficult for her, ”says her childhood friend.
The suspect is in pre-trial detention and has been charged with "attempted murder". He faces a life sentence. The baby was entrusted to a foster family. The kitty intended to take care of part of the medical, legal expenses and the cost of the installations made necessary by the permanent handicap of Elise had collected more than 38,000 euros this Friday midday.
