PayPal will stop domestic transfers in Russia from July 31

As noted, PayPal will only support international payments.

“You will not be able to send PayPal users in Russia or receive payments from PayPal users in Russia,” the message said.

These changes come into force on July 31.

According to TASS, since July 4, amendments to the law "On the National Payment System" entered into force in Russia.

They establish new requirements for electronic money transfers within the country.

So, the electronic money operator and the organizations involved by it are not entitled to transfer information on transfers made in Russia to the territory of a foreign state or to provide access to such information from the territory of a foreign state.
