Held in check Thursday on the ground of Hellas Verona (2-2) at the end of the 31st day, Inter Milan failed to take back the third place in the Italian Championship, abandoned the day before at Atalanta Bergamo .

Beaten at home by Bologna during the previous day, the Milanese are going through a complicated period and therefore find themselves in 4th position, far from the ambitions of the start of the season.

But the positions at the top of the ranking remain tight.

At the head, Juventus widened a small gap, with seven lengths ahead of Lazio Rome. Two points behind the Romans, we therefore find Atalanta (3rd), who beat Sampdoria Genoa on Wednesday, and, another length behind, Inter (4th).

And during the next day Saturday, the duel between Juventus and Atalanta could still move the lines.

Thursday in Verona, Inter started badly and ended badly. From the second minute, Lazovic opened the scoring for Hellas, author of a good season (9th).

The Veronese then shot the post and had many chances, but failed to score.

Inter did not start to exist until half an hour and waited for the restart to equalize, by Candreva after a shot on the post of Lukaku (49th).

On a new action from Candreva, DiMarco then scored against his camp (2-1, 55th). The Milanese then seemed in control but they gradually gave up ground.

In the 86th minute, they were punished by the goal of 2-2, signed Miguel Veloso.
