The Asia-Pacific 6D communication satellite is a high-throughput broadband communication satellite in geostationary orbit. It is developed by the Communications Satellite Division of the China Academy of Space Technology under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The public platform (DFH-4E platform) is built, the launch weight is about 5550 kg, and the on-orbit service life is 15 years. So far, the China Academy of Space Technology has developed and launched 304 spacecraft.

It is understood that the Asia-Pacific 6D communication satellite is also the 12th communication satellite provided by China Great Wall Industry Group Co., Ltd. (Great Wall Company), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. To date, Great Wall has implemented 12 in-orbit communications satellite delivery projects for domestic and foreign customers, and exported communications satellite systems to Nigeria, Venezuela, Pakistan, Bolivia, Laos, Belarus, Algeria, Hong Kong, and many other countries and regions.

The Long March 3B carrier rocket that carried out this launch mission was developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. This launch is the 69th flight of the Long March 3B carrier rocket and the 339th flight of the Long March series carrier rocket. (Finish)
